Canadian Red Cross Junior Delegate Program

The Canadian Red Cross, in partnership with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), initiated a Junior Delegate Program in 2006. The goal of this program is to strengthen the bridge between the Society’s youth base and our international development work, and to build the capacity to promote our work domestically and internationally.

Given the overwhelming positive response this program has received, we have extended and expanded this program directly with the Society’s Canadian networks and International Operations.

This year, we are delighted to inform Canadian youth that our Junior Delegate Program has expanded yet again to include 6 Junior Delegate positions across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance Canadian youth experience in an international context, possibly paving the way to an international career.
