Canadian Red Cross Junior Delegate Program

In June 2009 Red Cross youth volunteers from around the world met for the Third World Red Cross Red Crescent Youth Meeting, in Solferino, Italy. This meeting not only brought together enthusiastic youth from 156 countries, but also commemorated the 150th anniversary of the battle of Solferino, where Henry Dunant was inspired to form the International Red Cross Movement.
